I had one of my friends watch my elevator pitch and give me
feedback. I think the thing that stood out to me as important was that she said
I didn’t look excited about my service and I wasn’t very animated about it. I
think this was the most important piece of feedback she gave me because if I don’t
seem excited about my product, the person watching the pitch will also not be
excited and won’t want to purchase a subscription for my tutoring service. I
think what surprised me most was that she said I didn’t look professional. I
would also say that this was what was most silly because I was wearing a dress
that wasn’t revealing and seemed pretty professional to me.
I tried to change my attitude and seem more excited about
what I was pitching. I was trying to engage the audience more. I also took my
friends advice and wore a blazer to look more professional.
I think you did a good job of taking the feedback you received and applying it in your second video. I think you seemed excited about the service you are providing and you did well to provide specific details about it. You talked quickly and fit a lot of information in while speaking clearly so it was easy to understand.
